Tech Fest | General T&C’s
- Every customer that spends any amount on any product in store or online is eligible for the daily draw after subscribing to Virgin Circle loyalty program.
- Every customer that spends AED 1000 and above is eligible for Daily, Weekly, and end of the month draw after subscribing to Virgin Circle loyalty program.
- The weekly prize is comprised of a 1-minute shopping spree at Mall of the Emirates or The Dubai Mall branches.
- Eligibility validation period starts on the 11th of October 2021 and ends on the 30th of October 2021.
- Daily draw participants will be taken out from the draw on the following day and are not eligible for any further draws.
- Weekly and end of the month winners only are taken out from the following weeks and end of the month draw; all remaining participants (non-winners) are still eligible for the following weekly and end of the month draw.
- Daily & Weekly winner announcements will happen on October 18 + 25 and November 1, 2021 at the Virgin Megastore Head Office.
- End of the month winner announcement will happen on November 1st, 2021 at the Virgin Megastore Head Office.
- Winner will be notified by telephone and shall only be able to claim the prize by presenting adequate personal identification (Emirates ID, passport or valid driver license with photo ID). If the Customer is unreachable, the prize will be forfeited by the customer, and customer shall not have any right to claim any damages or compensation whatsoever from Virgin.
- The prize will be awarded only and within the UAE. In case the winner of the raffle draw is not a legal resident of the UAE or resides outside of the UAE, it shall be his/her sole responsibility to bear all travel costs to collect the prize (i.e. travel tickets, visa requirements) and all logistical costs for exporting and transporting the prize from the Mall of the Emirates. All other taxes, expenses and incidentals not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are the winner’s sole responsibility.
- Prize substitution, refund or cash equivalent claims are not permitted in any way whatsoever.
- Prize images may not reflect actual size, style, color, or models of the actual prizes.
- All transactions during Techfest (i.e. from 11th of October till 30th of October) are non-refundable nor exchangeable.
Weekly Prize: A Tower of Gifts Shopping Spree | T&C’s
Objective: Winners will have to build the tallest tower comprised of items collected from the store within 1 minute.
How to participate & guidelines:
- Spend 500 & get a chance to enter the weekly draw.
- Winner to meet at Mall of the Emirates or The Dubai Mall in-store floor mark.
- Each winner is given 1 minute to collect items & build a tower.
- The higher the tower is, the more items the winner can take home for free within the time limit of 1 minute.
- If the tower falls apart, winner will only be able to collect the pile sitting within the floor mark.
- Winner shall stop building the tower when time is up and will collect what’s on the tower; any item collected from the store but not added to the pile within the floor mark will not be added to the free items.
- If any item is placed within the mark and manages to touch the border; the customer will only be entitled to that item.
- Items won cannot be exchanged unless defective.
- Prizes won from the challenge once claimed, cannot be refunded, or exchanged, for cash or store credit from any Virgin Megastore branch.
- A total of AED 5,000 is the maximum cap for each of the weekly prizes & includes all product categories instore. Categories include lifestyle, gaming, culture, electronics/ tech, and outdoor.
- Winner can choose 1 item per SKU only.
- No shopping cart will be provided to collect items during the shopping spree tower challenge.
- Once notified, winner must claim and spend the prize within 30 days of the draw date.
- Virgin Megastore employees and their family members are ineligible for this promotion.
