"Afraid Of Sunlight" is a reissue of the studio album by the British rock band Marillion, originally released in 1995.

The edition is a remastered version by Michael Hunter.

The release is presented on double black 180-gram vinyl.

Marillion is a group founded in 1979 in the English city of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They emerged on the post-punk music scene in the UK and existed as a bridge between punk rock and classic progressive rock, becoming the most commercially successful neo-progressive rock band of the 1980s. 18 studio albums were recorded, while it is customary to divide the band's creative path into 2 stages. The first stage is associated with the founder of the group, vocalist Fish, who left the ensemble in 1988, and the second stage is associated with Steve Hogarth, who replaced Fish. Fish took part in the recording of the first four Marillion albums. The main line-up of the group has not changed since 1984 - this is Steve Rothery (the only current member is the founder), Pete Trevais, Mark Kelly and Jan Mosley.

  • Format: 2LP
  • Label: Parlophone
  • Artist: Marillion
