Play using the Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk, Wii U Pro Controller or the Wii U GamePad, and aim your Pikmin with total precision: fling them to latch onto enemy weakspots or pass over gaps. Whichever control option you choose, you can watch over the action with an overhead view on the GamePad and quickly switch between areas by sliding your finger on the touch screen, allowing you to keep track of your teams with ease.

Crack enemies' tough outer shells and break down barriers with the new Rock Pikmin, and use the new Winged Pikmin in combination with the individual skills of other Pikmin types to proceed. Decide how best to divide your Pikmin teams to assign them the most appropriate tasks, and maximise your progress in each day.

The Wii U console's processing power and high definition capabilities draw you deeper into the unique world of the Pikmin, with intricate detail and animation enriching your gaming experience. You can also enjoy the adventure on just the GamePad screen with Off-TV Play.

Explore an expansive single-player adventure, and take on discrete challenges in Mission Mode, where the aim is to amass as much treasure as possible within a strict time limit. At the end of each stage, use the action replay feature to review your performance and formulate new strategies, increasing replay value.
